About this tool
Mangal Dosha, or being Manglik, is said to arise when Mars stands in the 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house from the Lagna or from the Moon. It is traditionally checked when matching kundlis for marriage.
There are classical conditions that soften or cancel the dosha, for example Mars in its own or exalted sign, or both partners being Manglik. Because of this, a dosha in the chart is a reason to look carefully with a pandit, not a reason to worry on its own.

If I am Manglik, can I marry a non-Manglik?

Does the dosha last forever?
It is judged from the birth chart, so it does not change over time. Many families also give weight to age and the strength of Mars.
