KP Planet Table (Star Lord and Sub Lord)
See the Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) star lord and sub lord of every planet in your chart, with sign, degree and nakshatra pada.
About this tool
Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) astrology refines each point of the zodiac into a sign lord, a star lord (the nakshatra lord) and a sub lord, using 249 sub-divisions of the zodiac. In KP the sub lord is the key to judging events.
This table shows the star lord and sub lord of each planet in your chart. KP house cusps and significators are not included yet; for a full KP reading please talk to a KP astrologer.
Frequently asked questions
What is a sub lord?
Each nakshatra is split into nine unequal parts in the proportion of the Vimshottari dasha years. The part a planet falls in has its own lord, the sub lord.
Which ayanamsa is used?
This tool uses Lahiri. KP practice uses its own, very slightly different ayanamsa, so a position right on a boundary may change sub lord.
Why are house cusps missing?
KP uses Placidus house cusps, which this site does not calculate yet.
